About Me and My Cars

My favourite cars are tricky cars. I like cars that aren't easy to live with or possess some excess of character that makes them extreme to others. Of all the cars I've owned, my favourite was the 964RS race car complete with welded cage, air-jacks and Stack dash. Next after that was the second, grey Skyline GT-R, the engine of which would wind round to 9,500 rpm and leave anything for dead.

Unfortunately, my car career, if you can call it that, has been interrupted in recent years, firstly by a run-in with the Welsh Police which left me without a driving licence for a year and secondly, a financial crisis I'm only beginning to overcome.

These events have given me a different outlook on cars. I'm not wedded to cars as a means of transport. In fact, in London, they're a pain in the arse and I prefer almost any alternative. For me now, I appreciate the pure convenience of cars in principle and love the freedom they offer. Fast cars offer thrills to boot.
