Welcome to Auto-Journals!

Added: 01/12/08
Or indeed, welcome back, if you are a long-term reader from our previous incarnation.

It has been a long time coming, but here, at last, is Auto-Journals 2.5.

Why 2.5? Well “web 2.0” is shorthand for the ever-increasing flood of websites that consist of purely user-generated content.

We add a subtle but crucial difference in that we apply a professional sheen to our content so that even the greenest of contributors can create sharp looking articles that are a pleasure to read and which our writers can be proud of.

Of course we are not ghost writers and can’t rescue irretrievably dire material, but it’s amazing what a bit of sub-editing and our world-leading image presentation system can polish up!

However the vast majority of our existing writers are supremely competent and require very little refinement from us, which is even better.

This is your chance to share your car ownership stories with the world and we’ve made it easy for you to do so via our user-friendly and slick-looking platform.

Also new to A-J 2.5 are our Feature articles that are penned by our most experienced and accomplished writers. This select team will contribute regular articles in the form of new/interesting car Reviews (check out Phil James’ Spyker review), editorial Comment, a News report or simply a motoring-related Feature.

To our original readers and writers, thank you for staying with us over such a lengthy development period, and to our new visitors, we hope you will enjoy what you see and choose to get involved.

And remember, Cars Are For Life, not just for Christmas!
