Become a writer for auto-journals...

Well done! You have taken the first bold step towards becoming an auto-journalist!

It doesn't matter if you haven't written for an audience before. As long as you are literate (or can at least use Spelling and Grammar Check…), have good communication skills and have a passion for your car(s) then we want to hear from you.

Of course it is impossible for us to compile a definitive list of what we consider to be an “interesting” car, but your enthusiasm and use of your car is at least as important as what make and model it is.

If you are accepted for joining us as a writer after filling in this form, then your first introductory journal entry will need to be ideally between 750-1,000 words or so and good quality photos, preferably digital, are a necessity. Once accepted, we will issue you with some guidance notes to give you an outline of what we are looking for as well as writers' tips and photo tips.

There is no commitment required from you other than a genuine intention to keep your journal updated, even if that means only a 100 words every quarter or so. However we are not currently planning to feature one-off reports or articles; this is a site written by owners about cars they are running long term.

We look forward to receiving your submission and hope that this will be the start of a long and happy writing partnership!

Tell us what car you've got and why you like it.

How we select our writers depends on a variety of factors, including an interesting writing style so we suggest that you write between 200 to 500 words below.

Keeping a balance of the different cars covered is another of our concerns, so if we can't accomodate you now, we might want to get in touch in the future.
